Register for Sail Camp - Pay Later

Please complete the registration form below for each child, and check the option for how you will pay later: cash, check, or charge to SAYC account.  If you choose to charge the registration to your SAYC member account, the club manager will send an email confirmation when the registration fee has been applied to your account.

​Our Sail Camp Handbook will be emailed when both registration and payment have been received.

IMPORTANT: Your child's registration in camp is not guaranteed until payment in full is received.  Call the Club Manager and pay directly over the phone: 904.824.9725.

    Payments

    Payment must be received in order to guarantee your child's placement in summer sailing camp, based on availability.  Upon completion of this registration form, you will need to remit payment in order for your registration to be considered complete.

    The following fees apply for summer sailing camp:
    • $295.00/week, any child, first week, non-SAYC member
    • $245.00/week, per additional week, non-SAYC member
    • $195.00/week, per child, per week, SAYC members only

    Medical Waiver - REQUIRED

    Every sailor must submit a medical waiver form in order to participate in sail camp.  Without a signed waiver on the first day of class, your sailor may not participate.   Download the waiver here and bring it with you on the first day.   If you have any questions, please contact SAYC Sail Director.

    Cancellation Policy:
    To cancel your registration you must notify the Sail Director in writing. Cancellations received two weeks (14 days) or more in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 13-7 days before your first day of camp will receive a 50% refund, and cancellations received 6 days or less in advance will not be refunded. ​

    What to bring and other stuff:
    ​*Sail Camp Handbook sent upon registration*

    • All applications and payment must be completed two weeks prior to the first day of camp in order to guarantee a spot.
    • Medical waiver forms are required in order to participate.  If you do not complete a medical waiver in advance, you must complete one on the first morning of camp. It is preferred and appreciated to have both the waiver and Covid Self-Assessment forms printed, completed and ready to hand in on Monday morning. 
    • Summer Camp is from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Early drop off and extended stay can be arranged, for an additional fee.
    • Student should wear clothes that can get wet everyday, as well as closed toe shoes. 
    • The student should bring the following everyday:
      • Life jacket
      • Lunch, snacks, and a reusable water bottle
      • Hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, etc. + BUFFS! (1 buff provided)
      • Change of clothes, a towel and water shoes
      • Any sailor wearing glasses should have some type secure straps on the glasses.
    • Please apply sunscreen before each camp session. Lotion is preferred as sprays are proven to be ineffective. 
    • We have a limited supply of life jackets to borrow. Sailors must take home all items each day, including PFDs, to sanitize and dry overnight.
    • Sailing gloves are recommended for the Club 420 sailors.
    • The Club will be open for dinner every Wednesday at 5:00 for all Sailors and their families.
