Youth Sailing Program

A founding goal of the St. Augustine Yacht Club was to "further the promotion of yachting, yacht racing, and cruising." To help meet this goal we have established the Sailing & Maritime History Program. Its open for children from the ages of 7 to 15.  The weekly summer program will start May 28, 2018.  The last session begins August 6th. Daily schedules are from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Costs: $235 per week; $205 for siblings and any additional weeks. Classes are divided by age and skill ability and are taught by US Sailing Certified Instructors. Visit our Facebook page: SAYC Junior Sailing for more information or contact SAYC Fleet Captain at fleetcaptain.staugustineyc@gmail.com  or call 904-824-9725.

The Junior Sailing Program was founded with the mission to expose our youth to the lifetime sport of sailing in a safe, professional manner. Whether you want to take the sport to a competitive or recreation level, we will provide the foundations.

We recommend you sign up early as classes are limited - your spot in the program is not confirmed until payment has been received.
